　　 這是一篇英漢翻譯實踐報告,選自七幕戲劇《蘇伊士以東》一至三幕。該劇本是由英國杰出的戲劇家威廉·薩默塞特·毛姆于1922年游歷中國之后所著。該戲劇發(fā)生在中國北京,主要講述了女主人公黛西與白人喬治和哈利三個人之間的愛情糾葛,目前尚無中文譯本。該報告以維爾納·科勒的“等效關系”翻譯理論為基本指導,將翻譯過程中遇到的諸多難題進行總結并歸納為以下三類:一、如何實現詞的對等比如部分對等、零對等和反義對等;二、如何實現句子的對等比如語法結構、表達方式的對等;三、如何實現語境的對等比如情景語境、文化語境的對等。對于詞的層面,譯者將科勒的內涵對等作為實現英漢兩種語言之間詞的部分對等的基本目標,將延伸法作為基本翻譯技巧。對于缺乏對等此種情況,譯者將內涵對等作為實現零對等的基本目標,將推理法和代替法作為基本翻譯技巧;將外延對等作為實現反意對等的基本目標,將反譯法作為基本翻譯技巧。對于句子層面,譯者將形式對等作為實現語法結構對等的基本目標,將拆分法與組合法作為基本翻譯技巧;將文本類型對等作為實現句子表達方式對等的基本目標,將轉換法和重構法作為基本翻譯技巧。對于語境層面,譯者將文本類型對等作為實現情景語境對等的基本目標,將代替法和轉換法作為基本翻譯技巧;將語用對等作為實現文化語境對等的基本目標,將代替法作為基本翻譯技巧。通過翻譯實踐,該報告認為戲劇翻譯應遵循等效原則,合理地運用翻譯技巧,盡可能地使譯文語言符合戲劇語言通俗易懂、清晰直接、自然流暢的特點,使目標語對目標語接收者產生的效果與源語對源語接收者產生的效果相同。
