【摘要】：契丹之名早在13世紀(jì)前就傳播到西方,經(jīng)過(guò)兩個(gè)多世紀(jì)的傳播和積淀,在西方社會(huì)被塑造成一個(gè)極富傳奇色彩的東方理想國(guó):地處中國(guó)邊緣,富甲天下。探尋契丹的熱望引領(lǐng)著西方航海探險(xiǎn)家步入地理大發(fā)現(xiàn)時(shí)代。隨著從航海中獲得地理知識(shí)的積累,西方人才弄清契丹與中國(guó)本是一地,遼則是由契丹人建立的與中國(guó)宋王朝同期的一個(gè)國(guó)家(朝代)。西方學(xué)者研究契丹與遼史始于19世紀(jì)后期。20世中期以前,隨著考古發(fā)現(xiàn)的不斷進(jìn)展以及中外雙向文化交流的增強(qiáng),西方學(xué)界對(duì)遼史和契丹民族史的研究進(jìn)入高潮,成果豐碩,研究領(lǐng)域不斷拓展,至今約有專著十余部,論文百余篇。
[Abstract]:The name will spread to the west before thirteenth Century, after more than two centuries of spread and accumulation in western society is portrayed as a legendary Oriental Utopia: located in Chinese edge, the richest in the world. To explore the Khitan aspirations and led western explorers entered the age of discovery. With geography the accumulation of knowledge from the sea, and the western talent is a clear Chinese Khitan, Liaoning is a country with China Song Dynasty period established by Khitan people (dynasties). Western scholars of Qidan and Liao Dynasty before the middle of.20 began in late nineteenth Century, with the continuous progress of archaeological discoveries and enhance Sino foreign cultural two-way communication, western academic research on the history and the history of the Qidan nationality climax, fruitful, continuously expanding research field and has about a dozen of books, and hundreds of papers.
