[Abstract]:In the history of Chinese ideology, the cognitive tradition was formed in the Shang and Zhou dynasties. In the pre-Qin period, the ears and eyes were prominent, the eyes were focused on, but the ears and eyes were competing, the ears were finally dominant; in the Qin and Han dynasties, the ear and tongue were competing, and the final tongue was the first. From the early ear-mouth coordination to the ear-eye argument, ear dominance can be said to be in line with the ancient tradition of Shang and Zhou dynasties. In Qin and Han dynasties, the differentiation of ear and tongue was first and in essence the same. In Shang and Zhou dynasties, it is also the conscious advancement of cognitive thought that the mouth is hidden before the tongue, and the ear and tongue occupy the superior position first. In the end, the eyes and ears were suppressed in the debates of the senses, and were taken by taste, which made Chinese cognitive thought go further away from the cognitive orientation that emphasizes the priority of vision and hearing, and finally established the cognitive orientation of taste priority. Taste preference also determines the cultural direction of the core concepts, such as "Tao", which is dominated by taste sense, thus forming the unique world of taste thought in China.
