　　閱讀是獲取信息的主要方法之一,對提高學習者的英語水平起著重要作用。但需要指出的是,中國大多數(shù)初中生對英語閱讀的興趣不高,動力不足,尤其是課外英語閱讀。當前,生詞被認為是學生成功理解閱讀材料的最大障礙,學生迫切需要掌握的是如何在閱讀中有效地處理生詞。因此,指導初中生采用適當?shù)脑~匯推斷策略來推斷生詞的含義非常必要。到目前為止,大量研究者將注意力放在調(diào)查學習者使用詞匯推斷策略的現(xiàn)狀,但是仍不清楚英語水平的不同如何影響學習者的推斷行為,包括詞匯推斷策略使用類型和頻率兩個方面。此外,國內(nèi)外幾乎所有研究者都已經(jīng)證實,詞匯推斷策略訓練可以提高學習者的詞匯推斷能力,但是,哪個水平的學習者可以從詞匯推斷策略訓練中受益更多,仍然值得深入研究。在以往研究的基礎上,提出以下三個研究問題:(1)初中生使用詞匯推斷策略的現(xiàn)狀如何?(2)不同水平的初中生使用詞匯推斷策略有什么區(qū)別?(3)詞匯推斷策略訓練如何影響初中生的詞匯推斷能力?杭州一所初中的兩個平行班共78名九年級學生參加了該實驗。首先,通過問卷和訪談1,調(diào)查初中生使用詞匯推斷策略的現(xiàn)狀。其次,將參與者分為三組,即高水平組,中水平組和低水平組,通過詞匯推斷測試...
