【摘要】：本篇報(bào)告的翻譯材料選自科馬克·麥卡錫的半自傳體小說《沙崔》。該小說主要講述了主人公沙崔放棄養(yǎng)尊處優(yōu)的生活,拋棄家庭,選擇在諾克斯維爾的田納西河上的一個破舊船屋上打漁謀生。船屋因靠近棚戶區(qū),故附近有很多怪人和罪犯,與其過去的奢華生活形成強(qiáng)烈反差。沙崔在和杰布、哈羅蓋特在內(nèi)的一些行為怪異的人打交道之后,用自身的尊嚴(yán)及幽默脫離了骯臟的物質(zhì)人類社會。該翻譯報(bào)告以卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論為基礎(chǔ),從層次轉(zhuǎn)換與范疇轉(zhuǎn)換兩個方面結(jié)合具體案例,探討了翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論在翻譯實(shí)踐中的指導(dǎo)作用,旨在解決翻譯過程中遇到的一些難題。本翻譯報(bào)告由五部分構(gòu)成,第一章介紹了作家麥卡錫及其作品。第二章對譯前準(zhǔn)備做了說明,包括翻譯材料的分析、相似文本的研究以及預(yù)測翻譯中會遇到的難題。第三部分為理論指導(dǎo),主要介紹了本翻譯報(bào)告的指導(dǎo)理論——翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論。第四章為案例分析。筆者首先探討了該翻譯實(shí)踐的研究意義,之后結(jié)合實(shí)例,詳細(xì)敘述了翻譯過程中轉(zhuǎn)換理論的具體應(yīng)用,以及該理論指導(dǎo)翻譯過程中的不足之處并舉例說明。最后一部分筆者對該翻譯實(shí)踐進(jìn)行總結(jié),并對今后的翻譯工作提出建議。
[Abstract]:The translation of this report is based on Cormack McCarthy's semi-autobiographical novel Sartre.The novel is mainly about the protagonist Shatrey giving up his privileged life and abandoning his family and choosing to make a living in a dilapidated boat house on the Tennessee River in Knoxville.The boathouse is close to the shantytowns, so there are a lot of geeks and criminals, in sharp contrast to the luxury life of the past.After dealing with strange people like Jeb, Harrogate and others, Shatrey broke away from the filthy material human society with his dignity and humor.Based on Catford's translation translation theory, this paper discusses the guiding role of translation translation theory in translation practice from two aspects: hierarchical transformation and category transformation.The aim is to solve some difficult problems encountered in the process of translation.This translation report consists of five parts. The first chapter introduces the writer McCarthy and his works.The second chapter explains the pre-translation preparation, including the analysis of translation materials, the study of similar texts and the difficulties encountered in the prediction of translation.The third part is the theoretical guidance, mainly introduces the translation theory of this translation report.Chapter four is a case study.The author first discusses the significance of the translation practice, and then, with an example, describes in detail the application of the translation theory in the translation process, as well as the shortcomings of the theory in guiding the translation process and illustrating some examples.In the last part, the author summarizes the translation practice and puts forward some suggestions for the future translation work.
