【摘要】："化境"一詞是錢鍾書先生提出的文學翻譯的最高標準。這一理論的提出,在我國的翻譯界產(chǎn)生了極其深遠的影響,并且引起了廣泛而熱烈的討論。然而,在翻譯的過程中,怎么樣就達到了"化境",尺度是什么,怎么衡量,一直都是大家爭論的焦點。本文以《聊齋志異》中的經(jīng)典故事《瑞云》兩英譯本為例,分別從選詞、修辭、翻譯方式三方面分析"化境"是否得到了體現(xiàn)。目的在于可以使我們中國的這一傳統(tǒng)譯論能在今后的翻譯實踐和翻譯批評中得到越來越廣泛的應用。
[Abstract]:The word "transference" is the highest standard of literary translation put forward by Mr. Qian Zhongshu.This theory has had a profound influence in the translation circle of our country, and has aroused extensive and heated discussion.However, in the process of translation, how to achieve the "context", what is the yardstick, how to measure, has always been the focus of debate.Taking the two English versions of the classic story "Ruiyun" in Liaozhai Zhi Yi as an example, this paper analyzes whether the "Transfiguration" has been embodied from the three aspects of the choice of words, rhetoric and translation methods.The aim is to make this traditional translation theory in China more and more widely used in translation practice and translation criticism in the future.
