【摘要】：本文披露筆者在其莎士比亞詩作譯稿編輯出版過程中和付梓發(fā)行之后與部分編輯、讀者和青年學子就莎詩翻譯的通信交流內容,讓公眾窺視一眼翻譯活動的幕后工作,了解一下譯者的決策過程:剖毫析芒的考證、小心翼翼的推敲、頗費思量的取舍、殫思竭慮的修訂,從而說明一次翻譯活動就猶如一座冰山,讀者所讀到的譯本僅僅是可以看見的冰山一角,而譯者所做的絕大部分工作則是不為公眾所見的水下部分。
[Abstract]:This article reveals that during the process of editing and publishing the translation of Shakespeare's poems and after the publication of the translation, the author communicates with some editors, readers and young students about the translation of Shakespeare's poems, so as to give the public a glimpse of the work behind the scenes in the translation activities.Take a look at the translator's decision-making process: textual research, careful scrutiny, thoughtful choice, painstaking revision, which shows that a translation activity is like an iceberg.What readers read is only the tip of the iceberg, while most of what the translator does is the underwater part which is not seen by the public.
