基于語(yǔ)料庫(kù)從雙性同體角度對(duì)譯者風(fēng)格的探究 ——以《簡(jiǎn)·愛》為例

傳統(tǒng)觀點(diǎn)認(rèn)為,翻譯活動(dòng)是一種模仿活動(dòng),而非創(chuàng)造性活動(dòng);譯者只是服務(wù)于源文,以再現(xiàn)源文的文本風(fēng)格為目的。近幾十年來(lái)學(xué)術(shù)界不斷發(fā)展,人們對(duì)翻譯這項(xiàng)活動(dòng)的認(rèn)識(shí)不斷加深,譯者風(fēng)格逐步成為翻譯研究的重點(diǎn)之一。譯者風(fēng)格(translator’s style)一般是指譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中留下的譯者痕跡,即譯本中除了作者之外的聲音,具體來(lái)說(shuō)可以是翻譯策略的選擇和翻譯表達(dá)的偏好。以霍姆斯和圖里等為代表的學(xué)者提倡用描寫性翻譯學(xué)的方法來(lái)研究譯者風(fēng)格;而語(yǔ)料庫(kù)翻譯研究方法的興起令翻譯研究逐步擺脫零星的、主觀的研究模式,為全面客觀評(píng)價(jià)譯者風(fēng)格提供了契機(jī)。雙性同體這個(gè)概念由來(lái)已久,指的是不同性別氣質(zhì)存在在同一個(gè)體之中。隨著女性權(quán)利意識(shí)的不斷提高,女性主義翻譯理論迅速發(fā)展。學(xué)者們開始探索如何利用性別因素更好地完成翻譯。本論文研究的核心問(wèn)題正是男性譯者能否忠實(shí)再現(xiàn)女性作者作品中的女性風(fēng)格和思想。《簡(jiǎn)愛》是女作家勃朗特的一部具有鮮明女性主義特色的作品。本文選取《簡(jiǎn)愛》女性譯者黃淑仁譯本和男性譯者宋兆霖譯本為研究對(duì)象。本研究通過(guò)建立原著與兩譯本平行語(yǔ)料庫(kù),大量實(shí)例對(duì)比,以及增加兩位譯者的背景與意識(shí)形態(tài)來(lái)對(duì)比分析黃譯本和宋譯本...
