【摘要】：本篇報(bào)告的源語文本選自美國著名的女作家伊迪斯·華頓短篇小說集《高尚的嗜好》中的一篇--《歸來》。在對這篇小說翻譯的基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合理論,總結(jié)實(shí)踐。小說《歸來》成功塑造了莉迪亞這一女性形象,圍繞女主人莉迪亞同其前夫蒂洛森以及情人甘尼特三人之間的情感糾葛,再現(xiàn)了當(dāng)時(shí)束縛壓抑的社會大環(huán)境,表達(dá)了女性在婚姻牢籠中對個(gè)性自由的訴求,體現(xiàn)了作者女性意識的覺醒。小說內(nèi)容扣人心弦,主題寓意深刻,人物形象鮮明,語言生動幽默。小說翻譯是文學(xué)翻譯的一種,要求譯者在翻譯中從語義到文體以最貼切、最自然的對等語再現(xiàn)原語的信息和風(fēng)格,這恰好符合了美國著名的翻譯理論家尤金·奈達(dá)提出的功能對等理論的要求。功能對等理論是本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告的指導(dǎo)理論,它要求譯者在翻譯過程中不能僅僅拘泥于原文形式,更要著眼于原文的意義和精神,同時(shí)注重讀者反應(yīng)。本篇報(bào)告主要介紹了功能對等理論指導(dǎo)下的整個(gè)翻譯過程,包括譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯過程、翻譯案例分析和譯后體會等,著重從原文與譯文的實(shí)例出發(fā),從詞匯、句法和篇章三個(gè)層面進(jìn)行探討和總結(jié),以期對讀者和譯者提供有益的借鑒。譯者認(rèn)為,可以通過意譯和詞類轉(zhuǎn)換的方法實(shí)現(xiàn)詞匯層面的功能對等;采取增減譯、拆分和合并法等實(shí)現(xiàn)句法層面的對等;最后從行文的連貫性和風(fēng)格角度入手從而實(shí)現(xiàn)篇章層面的對等。
[Abstract]:The source language of this report is selected from one of the collection of short stories by American famous female writer Elysses Wharton, "return of the noble hobby." based on the translation of the novel, the author combines theory. Summing up the practice. The novel successfully portrays the female image of Lydia, which revolves around the emotional entanglement between the hostess Lydia and her ex-husband Tillotson and lover Gannite. It reappears the social environment of restraint and repression at that time, expresses the female's appeal for personality freedom in marriage cage, and embodies the awakening of the author's female consciousness. The novel's content is gripping and the theme meaning is profound. Novel translation is a kind of literary translation which requires the translator to reproduce the information and style of the source language from semantic to stylistic in the most appropriate and natural equivalent. This is exactly in line with the functional equivalence theory put forward by Eugene Nida, a famous American translation theorist. Functional equivalence theory is the guiding theory of this translation practice report. It requires the translator not only to stick to the original form in the process of translation, but also to focus on the meaning and spirit of the original text. This report mainly introduces the whole translation process under the guidance of functional equivalence theory, including pre-translation preparation, translation process, translation case analysis and post-translation experience. Starting from the examples of the original text and the target text, this paper discusses and summarizes the three aspects of vocabulary, syntax and text, in order to provide useful reference for readers and translators, according to the translator. The functional equivalence at the lexical level can be realized by means of free translation and part of speech conversion. The syntactic equivalence is realized by adding and subtracting translation, splitting and merging. Finally, from the angle of coherence and style, we can realize the equivalence of the text.
