【摘要】：英語雖然是世界通用語,但是標準英國英語和英語的區(qū)域性變體在口音方面存在著差異。英語區(qū)域性變體之間在口音方面也存在著差異。但是這種口音方面的差異是否會影響口譯質(zhì)量?口譯人員如何應(yīng)對口音方面的差異導(dǎo)致的口譯質(zhì)量的下降情況?本論文選取美國英語和巴基斯坦英語作為口譯語料,利用實證研究的方法,試圖研究口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量是否具有相關(guān)性且相關(guān)性有多大的問題。前人雖然有對不同語言間口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量進行過研究,但是迄今筆者還未見學者們對英語區(qū)域性變體之間在口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量相關(guān)性方面有過研究。從這個意義上講,本論文具有一定的新意。本文是一篇以吉爾的精力分配模式為理論基礎(chǔ),旨在研究口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量相關(guān)性的實驗報告。筆者采用實證研究的方法,從準確性、連貫性、信息完整性和流利度四個方面分析口音對口譯質(zhì)量的具體影響并在綜合考慮譯文質(zhì)量、實驗數(shù)據(jù)及調(diào)查問卷等因素的共同基礎(chǔ)上得出實驗結(jié)論并提出一些對應(yīng)策略。實驗結(jié)果表明:口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量之間存在正相關(guān)性,且相關(guān)性較高,但各部分的相關(guān)性不盡相同,如口音與術(shù)語翻譯準確性的相關(guān)性極高;口音與表達連貫性的相關(guān)性較高;口音與表達流利度的相關(guān)性一般;口音與信息完整度的相關(guān)性高。本實驗報告具有一定的啟發(fā)意義,它可以有針對性的訓練譯員對不同口音的聽辨分析與信息接收能力,從而提高譯員的口譯質(zhì)量。由于口音與口譯質(zhì)量各參數(shù)的相關(guān)性各不相同,譯員可以有針對性地采取相應(yīng)的策略來提高口譯質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:Although English is a universal language, However, there are differences in accents between standard British English and regional variations of English. However, does the difference in accents affect the quality of interpretation? How can interpreters cope with the deterioration in interpretation quality caused by differences in accents? In this thesis, American English and Pakistan English are selected as the interpreting materials, and the empirical study is used. This paper attempts to study whether or not the accent and the quality of consecutive interpretation are relevant and how relevant. Although previous scholars have studied accent and quality of consecutive interpretation among different languages, However, so far, no scholars have studied the correlation between accents and consecutive interpretation quality among regional variants of English. In this sense, This paper is based on Gill's energy distribution model and aims to study the correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality. This paper analyzes the specific impact of accent on the quality of interpretation from four aspects of information integrity and fluency, and considers the quality of translation comprehensively. On the basis of common factors, such as experimental data and questionnaire, the author draws the conclusion of the experiment and puts forward some corresponding strategies. The experimental results show that there is a positive correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality, and there is a high correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality. However, the correlation between accent and terminology translation accuracy is very high, the correlation between accent and expression coherence is high, the correlation between accent and expression fluency is general, the correlation between accent and terminology translation accuracy is very high, and the correlation between accent and expression coherence is relatively high. The correlation between accent and information integrity is high. This report has some enlightening significance, and it can be used to train interpreters in listening analysis and information receiving ability of different accents. Because the correlation between accent and interpretation quality parameters is different, interpreters can adopt corresponding strategies to improve interpretation quality.
