【摘要】：本次翻譯實(shí)踐選自賽·蒙哥馬利的《章魚的靈魂:探索章魚奇妙的意識(shí)世界》第八章內(nèi)容。書中,蒙哥馬利探尋了章魚的情感世界。《章魚的靈魂:探索章魚奇妙的意識(shí)世界》這本書是一部非小說類文學(xué)作品。本書榮獲美國(guó)國(guó)家圖書獎(jiǎng),是《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》暢銷書之一。至目前為止國(guó)內(nèi)沒有正式出版的中文譯本,因此本次翻譯實(shí)踐屬于首次翻譯,符合翻譯報(bào)告的要求。在《章魚的靈魂》這本書中,作者通過對(duì)章魚生動(dòng)鮮明的描寫,向讀者講述了大量關(guān)于章魚以及潛水的相關(guān)內(nèi)容,能夠讓讀者更加深入了解相關(guān)生物類知識(shí)并且開拓視野,同時(shí),本書也展現(xiàn)出作者對(duì)章魚深深的喜愛之情。對(duì)于譯者自身而言,希望通過這一翻譯實(shí)踐,能夠更深入的去了解非小說類文學(xué)作品,并且為此類題材作品的翻譯提供參考。在翻譯實(shí)踐的過程中,譯者通過對(duì)選文中的專有名詞、有關(guān)章魚的描寫以及長(zhǎng)難句的分析,討論了在翻譯實(shí)踐中具體的翻譯策略,進(jìn)而撰寫翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。此外,譯者還總結(jié)了在翻譯實(shí)踐過程中的不足之處以及未來翻譯實(shí)踐所要努力的方向。
[Abstract]:This translation practice is selected from the eighth chapter of Seth Montgomery's the Soul of the Octopus: exploring the wonderful World of consciousness of the Octopus. Montgomery explores the emotional world of the octopus. "the Soul of the Octopus: exploring the wonderful World of consciousness of the Octopus." this book is a non-fiction literary work. The book won the National Book Award. It is one of the best sellers of the New York Times. So far, there are no official Chinese translations published in China, so this translation practice is the first time and meets the requirements of the translation report. In this book, the Soul of the Octopus, By describing octopus vividly and vividly, the author tells readers a great deal about octopus and diving, which can help readers understand more about biology and broaden their horizons. This book also shows the author's deep love for octopus. For the translator himself, it is hoped that through this translation practice, he can get a deeper understanding of non-fiction literary works. In the process of translation practice, the translator discusses the specific translation strategies in translation practice by analyzing the proper nouns, the description of octopus and the long difficult sentences. In addition, the translator also summarizes the shortcomings in the process of translation practice and the direction of the future translation practice.
